About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. As a Crane Service Technician, you will work in various locations, providing essential services to ensure the safety and efficiency of our equipment. Your expertise will be vital in instructing apprentices, troubleshooting equipment, and performing routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct apprentices in best practices and safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to keep equipment in top condition.

Supervision

You will work alongside and supervise Electricians and Construction Millwrights, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • A Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Completion of a Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • A valid First Aid Certificate.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
