This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, where you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct apprentices and share your expertise.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose issues using computerized and other testing equipment.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and other maintenance tasks.
• Conduct repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments.

Requirements

Education

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Certifications

• Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate.
• Level three and four apprenticeship training.

Work Environment

• Outdoor setting with dusty, hot, and noisy conditions.
