In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, showcasing your skills in tile installation and design.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tilesetter, your tasks will include:

• Preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered
• Mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels
• Setting tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base
• Aligning and straightening tiles for a flawless finish
• Cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
• Packing grout into joints between tiles and removing excess grout
• Removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles
• Laying and setting mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
• Building underbeds and installing anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
• Installing tile strips

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
