Key Responsibilities

• Modify dental devices, including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands.
• Prepare plaster models and molds.
• Mold wax over denture setups.

• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
• Pack plastic material in molds to form full or partial dentures.
• Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
• Polish and buff dentures to perfection.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) for precise creations.

Work Environment

You will be working in a commercial dental laboratory and a denturist's practice. Please note that relocation costs are not covered by the employer, so candidates must be willing to relocate to Truro, NS.
