About the Job

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for driving and customer service? We are looking for a Courier Van Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items, ensuring that our customers receive their deliveries promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered.
• Load and unload goods efficiently.
• Sort packages for delivery to ensure timely dispatch.
• Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).

Weight Handling

• Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Experience
