About the Job
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Shellfish Labourers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in the aquaculture process. Key Responsibilities
- Transport fish and shellfish to the designated work area.
- Weigh fish or shellfish, record weights, and pack them in ice.
- Clean machines and maintain immediate work areas.
- Transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in specialized containers.
- Cull, mark, or tag aquaculture stocks.
- Clean, sort, and pack shellfish.
- Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms.
- Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks.
Work Environment
As a Shellfish Labourer, you will work in a unique environment that includes:
