About the Role

As a Seafood Preparer, you will play a crucial role in our processing operations. Your tasks will include:

• Cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
• Inspecting fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of fillets.
• Scraping away scales, cutting fish, separating fillets, and removing scrap parts using a knife.
• Checking products and packaging for defects to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Disjointing and removing meat from lobsters or other crustaceans in preparation for canning or further processing.
• Recording production information accurately.
• Setting up and operating machines for canning, bagging, boxing, or packaging fish and seafood products.
• Cleaning machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Sorting fish according to species, weight, and destination.
