About the Job

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Fish Plant Workers. This seasonal position offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a crucial role in processing high-quality seafood products. Key Responsibilities

• Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
• Transport fish and shellfish to the designated work area.
• Inspect products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans for canning or further processing.
• Record production information accurately.
• Set up and operate machines for canning, bagging, boxing, or packaging seafood products.
• Operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate, or process fish or seafood.
• Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack fish in ice.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and immediate work areas.

Work Environment

• Cold/refrigerated and wet/damp conditions.
• Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work.
• Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential.
• Standing for extended periods and overtime may be required.
