POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Planning and Distribution for the RW&CO. brand, the Allocation Manager develops and executes allocation and inventory management strategies to support the brand's strategic objectives, maximizing sales and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the Product Development team, define financial and strategic goals and conduct ongoing reviews of retail sales, markdowns, and inventory levels.
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of allocation analysts to achieve objectives on time and in line with overall strategy.
Maintain weekly sales and inventory forecasts with the Product Development team and revise budgets accordingly to ensure proper stock levels.
Oversee unit forecasting to achieve sales, inventory, and profitability targets.
Develop and oversee the execution of markdowns and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting and inventory management within a retail environment.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to coach and mentor team members.
