Marketing Promotions Manager

The Manager, Marketing Promotions, has two key accountabilities:

  1. Leading the creative rollout of traffic-driving promotions
  2. Leading seamless channel execution for all marketing communication

The manager will be a partner to ensure key timelines are met and campaign assets are delivered on time. This role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration to achieve best-in-class process implementation. The Manager supports driving consistency in brand promise, planning, execution, and reporting across every Indigo consumer touchpoint.

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Promo traffic at retail stores
  • Ensure brand/messaging consistency across all promotional efforts
  • 90% on-time stage-gate for key processes (storytelling, promotions), beginning Q4/October 1.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional

  • Develop and lead marketing, communications, positioning, and execution for promotions, partnering cross-functionally to ensure alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the ONE production brief, aligning inputs with Studio and sharing cross-functionally, while ensuring on-time delivery for each campaign.
  • Partner cross-functionally to lead the implementation of the promotional process, ensuring a >90% on-time stage-gating
  • Partner with the email marketing, site, and performance marketing teams to ensure brand campaigns are brought to life across all channels.
  • Manage the marketing priority calendar and lead weekly business update meetings, ensuring teams know upcoming deliverable dates and hit key timelines.
  • Consolidate and report the promotion results, following each mass promotion aligned with the promotions calendar.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce meaningful post-campaign analysis on a set cadence following each campaign. Share learnings with cross-functional teams and an executive summary to VPs
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma preferably in marketing, communications or business, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing

Competencies / Skills / Attributes

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data to storytelling, make recommendations and influence across the business
  • Agile and able to work in fast-paced environments, with a commitment to continuous improvement and ability to disrupt the status quo
  • Ability to think big picture while simultaneously managing the execution of day-to-day
  • Thrives working cross-functionally, and has the ability to build trust and credibility
  • Love of consumer-facing businesses and a strong interest and passion for retail, marketing and eCommerce industry.
