As a member of our Maintenance Team, you will:
- Repair and maintain production equipment and facilities, including bridge cranes with up to 25-ton capacity.
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Carry out other Millwright/Industrial Mechanic duties as assigned.
Qualifications
This role requires an individual with the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of assigned production equipment and processes.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machining functions.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with processing equipment.
- Formal training as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright, with electrical knowledge (equivalent qualifications will be considered). Experience in machining is an asset.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a high level of self-motivation.
- Friendly, patient, team-oriented work ethic with a strong commitment to organizational values.
- Ability to work various shifts; prior shift work and weekend experience is an asset.
- Punctual, mature, and reliable, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent walking and occasional sitting.
- Perform a range of physical activities, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy objects (60–100 lbs.), climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, and handling various materials.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

The role involves working near moving mechanical parts, frequent exposure to fumes and airborne particles, and occasional work in high or precarious positions. Potential burn hazards include UV light radiation, open flames, sparks, and other sources. Due to elevated noise levels, appropriate hearing protection is required, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
This position requires you to work rotating day/evening shifts.
