- Act as a resource person for managers and employees for all payroll questions via email and telephone
- Processing, validating, preparing and sending ROEs, etc. during terminations
- Processing lawyer files or other sources as needed
- Preparing weekly and monthly remittances (DAS - various union payments-alimony - etc.)
- Preparing T2200s at the end of the year
- Answering questions and preparing paperwork concerning the financial aspect related to payroll, CSST, employment insurance, union, etc.
- Performing checks and verifications before closing payroll - payroll processing is done every week (3 different pay cycles).
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume payroll production in a large company;
- Be a member in good standing of the Canadian Payroll Association (level 1, an asset);
- Have good knowledge of an integrated human resources system, ideally Workday, or the equivalent (SAP, Ceridian, ADP, etc.)
- Have very good knowledge of Excel to do pivot tables and V lookups;
- Bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken, because as part of your duties, you will have to collaborate fluently with internal clients across Canada.
