WHAT'S THE JOB?

The Janitorial Maintenance Technician role with Outland-Horizon North at Greenstone Gold Mines includes maintaining the overall cleanliness and and sanitization of the site common areas to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conformity to site and job specific safety standards and requirements
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of collected debris in designated locations
  • Sweeping and mopping of floors
  • Preparation of cleaning solutions and clean all surfaces throughout the site
  • Cleaning and restocking of restrooms
  • Touch point sanitization

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Candidate must reside in the Greenstone area (note this is a rotational position and does not include accommodations at site)
  • You are a motivated self-starter with an eye for detail with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Valid G Class driver's license with clean abstract and personal vehicle is a strong asset
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from site daily for scheduled shifts
  • Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience an asset, but not required
  • Dedicated to job safety and quality standards
  • Familiar with basic technology use (email, accessing online training, etc.)

Work Schedule and Remuneration:

Janitorial Maintenance Technicians work rotational schedules of 1 week on/1 week off. You may be required to work weekdays, weekends and general holidays.

Wages are paid on an hourly basis. Specific pay details are discussed at the interview phase.
