We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Service Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a Support Service Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility by overseeing and coordinating various support services such as housekeeping, food service, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of support service staff including housekeeping, food service, and Laundry.
- Train and mentor support service staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain reports on support service activities and performance metrics.
- Completes periodic inventory and orders supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year supervisory experience in health care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Food Safe Level 1 and WHIMIS certification up to date an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
