JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director, Finance Transformation, the Finance Process Excellence Specialist will work with Corporate Finance and across all Irving Group Moncton companies to help drive a culture of process excellence. This will be done by performing process maturity assessments, conducting process improvement projects, training and executing on best practice process techniques and change management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute & Support Finance process improvement projects across Corporate Finance and the businesses, including:
- Leading a cross-functional team to understand process requirements
- Map out the current state, identify and remove waste, and map the future state
- Document the work instructions and establish KPI's for the new process
- Execute & Support change management plan for Corporate Finance initiatives to create awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement.
- Support / Review Daily Management of processes to embed a culture of continuous improvement, such as establishing KPI's that are aligned with the strategy, establishing standard agendas, creating visual displays, and engaging the team in ongoing improvement.
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of Corporate Finance process architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 5 years' related experience
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt required; Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred
- Familiarity using tools such as Procedure Flow, Power BI, Power Automate
