JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Corporate Director, Operational Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible to lead Learning and Development Programs for Operations to improve the competency levels of the entire workforce to keep pace with business expectations, technological advances and stakeholder requirement.
Salary Range : $63,000 - $75,000
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee Learning Management System implementation, optimization and governance for Operations
- Work with internal SMEs, and external vendors, develop and facilitate programs and content to close competency gaps
- Oversee, develop and deliver training materials and approaches to improve competency of workforce
- Capture both tacit and industry technical knowledge in a sustainable manner and systems to deploy into the hands of our workforce
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree , technical diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' experience establishing learning & development programs, preferably in food manufacturing
- Project & Change Management experience; Prosci certification, Belt training considered and asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team;
