JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) position is a management level entry role created with the goal of training and developing our future manufacturing leaders in the organization. OMTs will be placed in progressive growth roles across the organization, all geared towards increasing their knowledge and base skills set. Once proficient in one position, the OMT will be given the opportunity to move on to a new challenging position, keeping the work exciting and always changing. This is an accelerated career program allowing individuals to learn many aspects of managing in a manufacturing environment. It's a great opportunity to do challenging high-profile work, get involved in exciting capital and non-capital projects, have access to personal mentorship, get exposure to different facilities across North America, and build relationships with managers and leaders across the entire organization

  • Annual Salary - 65,000 - 78,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn roles and responsibilities involved with your current assigned position. Become proficient in that position/department.
  • Learn from the leaders in the department and become a contributing team member.
  • Utilize your skills, knowledge, and experiences to implement improvement.
  • Complete learning modules that cover multiple different aspects the business - prepare & present reports as required
  • Complete assigned leadership development training courses as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and growth potential
  • Exhibit strong teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Show a high level of passion and drive.
  • Hold a university undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or a technical field, with strong academic performance is an asset
  • Relevant work experience and strong leadership skills, with the potential to learn will be given consideration.
