JOB DESCRIPTION
We currently have exciting opportunities within our Pulp & Paper Division operations for Mechanical Engineering Students to join our teams in Saint John and Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Summer 2025 Work Term.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks may include:

  • Project concept development and preliminary design assignments.
  • Assignments related to the development of project funding applications, justifications.
  • Participation in the management of construction contracts and the requisitioning of materials and services
  • Project construction, commissioning, and start-up support activities.
  • Working with contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning, and execution of work packages for mill projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and in good academic standing
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset
  • Ability to effectively time manage multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Long-term interest in an engineering career
