JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting both sales and operations, providing a variety of work throughout the summer. This could include acting as a liaison between the customers, visiting growers, and supporting production. This is a summer position that is ideal for a student studying agriculture. The position starts in April and finishes the end of August.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with deliveries of agricultural products
• Supporting sales staff with customer visits and requests
• Field work such as soil sampling, tissue sampling and crop scouting
• Facilitate on-farm research trials with various products.
• Day to day office duties and administrative responsibilities.
• Support production including assisting with customer orders.
• Cultivate positive relationships with customers in the farming community
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education in plant science or agriculture
• Must have valid driver's license
• Experience in a farming environment is an asset
• Experience in customer service or sales is an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
