JOB DESCRIPTION
The Associate Project Specialist will support the supply chain team in deriving value and improvements to enable supply chain objectives. This role is responsible for assisting in the execution of supply chain projects, aligning best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement, standardization, and process optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Supply Chain Strategic Project:
• Assist in planning, developing, and executing supply chain initiatives.
• Contribute to the deployment and alignment of best practices across the supply chain.
• Apply project management best practices to supply chain initiatives/projects.
• Support a diverse array of projects impacting the end-to-end supply chain.
Stakeholder Management:
• Develop cross functional relationships to coordinate project planning and execution.
• Work closely with intermediate and senior specialists to support Supply Chain initiatives.
• Answer stakeholder questions and action feedback throughout project lifecycle.
Coordinate Change:
• Support tools and communications to ensure stakeholders have the awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement to adapt to change for key projects/ initiatives.
Record and Update Supply Chain Documents:
• Contribute to updates of supply chain policies, processes, work instructions and standardize across programs (where applicable
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post secondary education in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Previous business, supply chain or project management experience is considered an asset, but not a requirement
  • Technical Skills - required skills to apply knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks, generally achieved over 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS office suite
