JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Office Administrator is a key role in the day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to the branch. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to work in a within a team environment and has the ability to provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person.
Salary - $20-23/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service- in person, front-counter sales, on the phone and via email correspondence to respond to general inquires and take orders.
- Create sales orders, fertilizer blend tickets and assist with order dispatching.
- Administrative duties (reporting, filing, updating licenses, collecting certifications, asset inventory, creating and receiving purchase orders, etc.)
- Inventory (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, receiving invoices, etc.)
- Input and maintain seasonal employee files
- Updating and submitting payroll
- Assist with seasonal recruitment
- Operating a certified truck scale
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
- Capable of working extended hours during peak seasons in the spring and fall.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team oriented with the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
