RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:

• Interior & Exterior Painting: Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces of homes.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or sealers as necessary.
• Color Matching & Mixing: Work with a variety of paints and finishes, mixing colors to achieve the desired outcome and ensuring a consistent application.
• Detail Work: Ensure precision in all aspects of the painting process, including trim work, touch-ups, and final finishes.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all painted surfaces meet the high standards of quality expected by Kent Homes.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment and minimize risks.

QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience as a painter, with a strong portfolio of both interior and exterior painting work.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless finishes.
• Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with other trades.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues and find creative solutions to challenges that arise during the painting process.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting, and work in various weather conditions (for exterior work).
• Certification: Any relevant certifications or formal training in painting are an asset but not required.
