JOB DESCRIPTION
The Woodlands and Sawmill division are currently sourcing a motivated student to be part of our Human Resources team for the Winter (January-April) 2025 term. As a HR student you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and HR related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with a divisional improvement project to enhance onboarding and training by position, including job description and training standardization, new employee onboarding portal and Learning Management System.
- Work collaboratively with team members from various departments on a variety of ad hoc requests
- Assist with other HR related duties that arise
- Lead and complete special projects
- Various administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Required: Business Administration/HR students available for Co-op or Winter work term and in good academic standing
- Years of Experience Required:
- Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual, consistent, and flexible to changing tasks
- Goal oriented, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy working in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent typing abilities
