JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager of HR Process & Change Management, the HR Process Excellence Specialist will work across all J. D. Irving, Limited Moncton companies to help build a culture of process excellence by training and executing on best practice process techniques, conducting process improvement projects, change management, and performing process maturity assessments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and Support Human Resources process improvement projects, including:
- Lead a cross-functional team to understand the process requirement
- Map out the current state, identify and remove waste, and map the future state
- Document work instructions and establish KPI's for the new process
- Execute and Support the change management plan for corporate HR initiatives.
- Support and Review Daily Management of processes to embed a culture of continuous improvement by:
- Establishing KPI's that are aligned with the strategy
- Establishing standard agendas
- Creating visual displays
- Engaging the team in ongoing improvement
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of Corporate HR process architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant HR field
- Six Sigma Yellow, Blue or Green Belt certification required
- 2-5 + years' experience in process improvement, continuous improvement, or similar role
- Proven ability to connect Big Picture strategy to process-level activities
- Experience communicating clearly at all levels of an organization
- Ability to lead a cross-functional project team to understand process requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Power BI, Power automates and able to learn new systems such as Procedure flow.
