The Northern New Brunswick Forestry Operations Division is seeking to fill a position of Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Truck and Transport with a reliable and motivated individual who demonstrates a positive attitude towards teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do:
- Perform heavy equipment maintenance activities, including installation, repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventive maintenance,
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance of equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble engines and mechanical units to inspect and diagnose parts using computerized test equipment, calibration devices, gauges, etc.
- Repair and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Follow all established safety policies and standards, including proper identification, use and procedures for handling or disposing of hazardous waste.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Education: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Diploma
- Years of experience required : 2 to 5 years
- A Red Seal is considered an asset, but not required. Candidates with a mechanic block 1, 2 or 3 will be considered
- Experience in welding and repairing forestry equipment considered an asset
- Must be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be autonomous and detail-oriented.
- Analytical and problemm solbing skills
- Being bilingual is asset.
