JOB DESCRIPTION
Sunbury Transport Limited is a leading carrier service utilizing the most advanced technology to deliver world class transportation service. We offer a wide range of creative transportation solutions; specializing in bulk, flatbed, van and food grade products.
Our company's primary site is in Saint John, 485 McAllister Dr. with other work locations throughout Eastern Canada. These are permanent, full time roles for Company Drivers in our Chip, Shorthaul Container and Flatbed divisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload goods, Transport and handle dangerous goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Operate GPS and Navigation equipment and trip recorder.
For some routes must be willing and able to cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver's license
QUALIFICATIONS
Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), 1 year tractor trailer experience, Criminal Record Check, English written and spoken, safe driving record.
