JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage time and attendance processes (e.g. reporting, adjustments, audits, set up new employee profiles)
- Ensure all departments and sites submit employee's time worked and are compliant with Company policies and procedures, and legislative requirements; investigate and correct issues
- Manage processes for taxable benefits, vacation calculations, apprenticeship block releases, purchase orders, etc.
- Maintain HR systems to manage employee lifecycle entries (e.g. leaves, returns, data changes)
- Coordinate various programs for employee recognition and engagement initiatives, including annual Long Services Award celebrations
- Provide weekly and ad hoc reports
- Ensure staff wellness; lead the business as the Wellness Representative (e.g., communications, wellness reimbursements, process fitness reimbursements)
- Support travel of department employees as the HR team travel administrator
- Support the HR team performing general HR administrative duties (e.g., interoffice mail, employment confirmations, stationary orders, bereavement flowers, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a post-secondary degree/diploma with a Human Resources focus, or related discipline
- You have
- You have a professional demeanor and understand that confidentiality is imperative
- You have a strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
- You have excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially in MS Excel
- You have experience with an ATS, a HRIS, and other HR platforms (HCM, Kronos, etc.) (asset)
- You are fluent in English
- You can communicate fluently, both written and orally in French (asset)
