JOB DESCRIPTION
Located in Dieppe, New Brunswick, the Logistics Coordinator will support the CHEP pallet transactional management function. In addition, this position will also focus on freight strategy and management for J.D. Irving affiliates, Moncton group of companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timely and accurate entry and validation of CHEP pallet transactions, invoices, and statements, including identification and reconciliation of any invoice discrepancies
  • Assist in monthly CHEP Pallet KPI management
  • Data management for freight tables between Midland and its affiliates including periodic audits between the various TMS systems (Mercury gate and JD Edwards)
  • Execute freight RFP preparation, execution, and tracking
  • Oversee corporate sundry purchase orders in E1 and E2 systems
  • Continuously seek and identify key areas of opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A post-secondary degree in business, or community college
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in procurement, manufacturing, or logistics preferred
  • Experience with JD Edward and Mercury gate considered an asset
  • Knowledge and experience of warehouse operations or pallet management considered an asset
  • Demonstrated competency in managing multiple projects
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
