JOB DESCRIPTION
Irving Shipbuilding is seeking a Finance CO-OP student to join for the Winter 2025 term. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas in Finance, including full cycle financial accounting and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing standard journal entries 20%
• Reconciliation of GL accounts 20%
• Compilation of various financial reports 20%
• Use of latest tools and technologies to complete data analysis and visualizations 10%
• Professional development and mentorship opportunities 30%

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • University Business/Commerce Degree student in good academic standing
• Experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis in MS Excel
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Strong communicator
  • Curious, with a process improvement mindset
  • Long term career interest in Finance and/or Analytics
