This testing involves measuring water temperatures, turbidity, flow rates, acidity, O2 levels, and other parameters to assess river health.
As part of your duties, you will also assist in cleanup efforts, assess and map beaver dams to identify potential passage issues for returning spawning salmon, and collaborate with government agencies and NGOs to conduct CABIN and BENTHIC surveys on all rivers in the Chaleur Area. By combining these surveys, we aim to gain a comprehensive understanding of the health of the entire Watershed.
