Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a safe and secure atmosphere for all staff residing in Lake Louise Ski Resort staff accommodation. As a resident advisor you will have the ability to objectively and quickly assess a variety of situations, and respond through creative problem solving and appropriate application of policies and standards while maintaining fairness and respect.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular patrols of Lake Louise Ski Resort staff accommodations and properties.
- Providing assistance and information to employees outside of housing office hours.
- Enforcing conditions of residence as outlined in staff rental agreements.
- Completing required nightly incident and duty reports.
- Liaison with local law enforcement and emergency service agencies as required.
- Completing out of hours check in/out procedures.
- Helping to clean and maintain communal housing areas.
- Respond to complaints and conduct incident investigations while maintain confidentiality
- All other related duties as required by the Housing Management Team.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Canadian or international license with a clean drivers abstract. Proof from your insurer of 3 years claims free history will be required.
- Ability to calmly and assertively intervene, mediate and effectively communicate in sometimes confrontational situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your peers.
- Ability to consistently adhere to company policies and procedures, while also responding to incidents with empathy and respect.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Physically able to lift/carry 50lbs
- First Aid, CPR, Self Defense and Mediation skills an asset
Work Schedule:
Night Shift - to be discussed at time of interview.
4 days on/ 3 days off
Dress Code:
Uniform shirt provided at cost, black pants/slacks in accordance with appearance standards
