At Korechi, we design cutting-edge robotic solutions for golf and farm automation. We're looking for a passionate Robotics Software Developer to join our team and help drive innovation in autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug robotics software using Python/C++ in ROS and ROS2.
  • Implement and refine Machine Learning models for our autonomous systems.
  • Conduct field testing on farms and golf courses, troubleshooting and debugging on-site.
  • Develop communication protocols between our robots and app platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members, peer-review code, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications

Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Software, Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1+ years of professional experience programming robots.

Strong coding skills in Python and C++.

Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.

Valid Canadian driver's license & authorization to work in Canada.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Robot Operating System (ROS 1 & 2) in Ubuntu.

Expertise in autonomous navigation, planning, control, and state estimation.

Experience with computer vision (traditional & deep learning).

Knowledge of bash scripting & command line tools in Ubuntu 20.04+.

Ability to develop protocols for software communication across different platforms.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring edge-case QA for own code.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable in fast-paced environments and switching between tasks.

Understanding of electronic systems (motors, cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU, etc.).

Experience with Arduino/microcontroller programming.

Familiarity with APIs like Google Drive & Google Cloud.
