HYBRID 1X PER WEEK IN TORONTO

PAY: $50-60/HR INCORP

Must haves:

• Hands-on experience in software development or QA automation

• Proficiency in web application testing and a strong understanding of QA concepts and processes

• Experience building automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Sikuli, RestAssured, and Selenium Grid

• Understanding of Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Behavior Driven, and Hybrid frameworks

• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as TestNG and Cucumber

• Comfortable using Git and experienced with CI tools like Jenkins and test management tools such as JIRA and qTest

• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL databases

• Exposure to ServiceNow

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide weekly status updates to the QE Director

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join one of our banking clients for a 6-month hybrid contract opportunity. The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining automation frameworks, support web application testing, and participate in quality engineering initiatives with a focus on Data Driven Development (DDD). The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, possess strong experience with Java and Selenium, and be capable of delivering robust automated test solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage

• Execute test cases and document results, working with tools such as JIRA and qTest

• Report and track bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolution

• Contribute to continuous integration efforts using Jenkins and Git

• Deliver regular updates and communicate progress to the QE Director
