Our challenge

We are looking for a Senior Developer who will work alongside a diverse and global team, contributing to a culture that values collaborative efforts and collective success.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features
  • Debug and troubleshoot Node.js applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js best practices and technologies
  • Continuously improve application performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of Node.js applications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Node.js development
  • Experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, ES6
  • Authentication, encryption, cryptography, session/state management
  • Real-time systems integrations (Web Sockets/Kafka/Solace)
  • Express / GraphQL
  • Cronjobs, mailers, schedulers, webworkers
  • Advanced MongoDB/Reddis querying
  • Git/Docker/Kubernets
  • React/Redux a plus
