In this role, you will:

• Lead the company's Indigenous engagement strategy-cultivating respectful and impactful partnerships with Indigenous communities.
• Design and deliver initiatives that support community employment, training, and procurement opportunities.
• Shape the company's environmental sustainability and ESG strategy, ensuring cultural inclusion and regulatory excellence.
• Work closely with executive leadership to embed sustainability and Indigenous relations into the broader business mission.
• Champion cultural awareness and Indigenous representation in projects, policies, and people practices.
• Represent the company at industry forums and with external stakeholders to build momentum and connection.

What our client is looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in sustainability, Indigenous relations, environmental leadership, or a related field.
• A deep understanding of Indigenous rights, values, culture, and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• A background in Environmental Science, Indigenous Studies, Business, or related disciplines.
• A collaborative and empathetic leadership style with outstanding communication skills.
