What You'll Do

• Build, optimize, and maintain modern, responsive UIs using React and modern CSS techniques (CSS Modules, or styled-components)
• Translate product ideas and UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance components
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver quality experiences
• Identify and proactively improve UI performance and maintainability
• Bring new ideas, question assumptions, and push for continuous improvement in processes and tools

What We're Looking For

• Toronto-based, able to meet in-office 3-4 days/week (flexible)
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development (mid to senior level)
• Strong proficiency with React (hooks, context, component architecture)
• Deep knowledge of CSS, including layout systems (Flexbox, Grid), responsive design, and theming
• Experience working with design systems or building one from scratch
• A self-starter attitude - you take ownership, ask questions, and go beyond the ticket
• A naturally curious mind - you love exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Bonus Points

• Experience with TypeScript, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance optimizations
• Previous contributions to open-source or personal projects
