About the role

We're looking for a PAM Security Specialist - HashiCorp to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

Vault Expertise: Become the internal expert on HashiCorp Vault, including secrets management, advanced functionalities (e.g., tokenization, Format Preserving Encryption - FPE), and best practices.

Implementation and Optimization: Work with teams to develop detailed implementation plans, bring Vault to production, and ensure operational readiness.

Security Focus: Maximize the security potential of Vault, ensuring secure, auditable, and restricted access to secrets.

Strategy and Influence: Contribute to and influence the organization's Vault strategy, optimizing its use and evolving its capabilities.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to Vault implementation and usage.

Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation and potentially provide training to other team members on Vault.

Manage design & implementation of security solutions across the product life cycle, such as standalone security tools, CI/CD pipeline integrations, product security features/fixes, etc

Act as SME on multiple information security areas (e.g. security architecture, application security, threat modeling etc.)

What you bring to the table:

HashiCorp Vault Expertise: Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault, including its various modules and functionalities.

Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and relevant technologies.

Technical Skills: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go).

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

HashiCorp Vault Operations Professional Certification: Desirable, but not always required.

Experience with other HashiCorp products: Familiarity with other HashiCorp products (e.g., Terraform, Consul) can be a plus.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
