Role mission:

The Head of Consulting has direct responsibility for:

  • Building strategic relationships with clients in the region to deliver additional value and business benefits from CUBE.
  • Leading a team of Consulting Leads and Customer Success Leads.
  • Maintaining expertise in relevant market trends to demonstrate CUBE's regulatory management and transformation capabilities.
  • Delivering customer excellence.

What we're looking for:

Technical skills:

  • At least 8 years' experience in regulatory consulting functions within financial services sector. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks would be a distinct advantage.
  • At least 5 years' experience in people management.
  • Deep domain expertise in design and implementation of compliance / legal / risk management operating models for multi-jurisdictional financial services firms.
  • Extensive experience with regulatory compliance processes (e.g. horizon scanning, impact assessment, regulatory change delivery).
  • Understanding Customer Success and associated management information and key metrics and determining appropriate response of action.
  • Proven track record of working with diverse skillsets to serve client needs across large / complex organisations.
  • Experience working with data models, regulatory mapping, taxonomies, data lineage, etc.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and elicit business requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience producing thought leadership or delivering presentations to large audiences would also be a distinct advantage.
  • Professional certifications in Risk and Compliance topics and frameworks would be highly valued.

Interpersonal skills:

  • Proven track record of leading people and/or teams with diverse skillsets.
  • Collaborative work mindset and ability to influence stakeholders and prioritise customer demands appropriately.
  • Ability to produce and deliver high quality technical analysis, using excellent oral / written communication skills and demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge.
  • Strategic and customer focused mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive and flexible attitude to work and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.
  • Ability to build trust by doing the right thing and commitment to rigorous professional standards.
  • Organised and passionate about building and delivering customer-centric propositions.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder communities with varying levels of experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong collaboration across a wide spectrum of colleagues, including internationally. A proven track record of working with offshore teams would be a major benefit.
  • High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure.
  • Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems, apply critical thinking, and rationalise these into workable solutions which can then be delivered.
  • A demonstrable commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
