Job Duties: Read blueprints; determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts as per building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood/wood substitutes, Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls; Fit and install trim items, such as doors & stairs. Maintain and renovate residences & wooden structures. May supervise helpers & labourers Essential Skills: Working with others, Significant use of memory, Continuous Learning Job Requirements: Education: No specific education is required Experience: 2-3 years of experience in trade Language: Basic English Working setting: Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding Work Site Environment: Outdoors Work The candidate should be available to work full-time on weekends, if required.
