Our expectations:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Capital Assets & Project Management Office, you will be responsible for change-management practices at RONA. You will work in close collaboration with representatives from our various business units and your role will involve training them. You will develop and implement strategies, action plans and efficient tools in change management/communication as part of project deployments.

Your role:

Supporting, advising and training business unit leaders on best practices in change management. Implementing the appropriate tools to promote exchanges and project success.

Planning, developing and implementing change-management and communication strategies that are efficient, simple and easy to operationalize in our service centres, distribution centres and stores across the country. Supporting the implementation of new processes, roles, teams and applications as part of multiple project deployments.

Planning, coordinating and producing all key deliverables in change management and communication. Conducting stakeholder analyses and all required detailed high-level impact analyses. Producing and coordinating transition plans and evaluations related to change awareness for impacted employees.

In collaboration with organizational communications, planning, coordinating and producing all communication deliverables (written, electronic, workshops, meetings, webcasts, etc.).

Planning training activities for users.

Defining and following up on key success factors throughout the program.

Conducting post-mortems after deployments.

The qualifications we are looking for:

University degree in business administration or a related discipline, combined with 10 years of professional experience in change management or organizational development, working with large-scale projects in major companies. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Expertise in organizational change-management and communication methodologies. PROSCI change management certification is a strong asset.

Proven ability to understand business challenges and needs to translate them into concrete actions.

Skills in coaching, problem solving and consulting with leaders on various levels.

Proven ability to respond rapidly to the unexpected and to changing priorities.

Exceptional teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.

Proficiency in Office: Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel.
