Recruitment of Special Education Technicians - Institutional, School-Based and Community Settings 1. Purpose of the Request
This request aims to recruit special education technicians, specialized educators, and psychosocial workers to fill temporary or contractual positions in various social services, educational, and healthcare institutions across Quebec.
2. Description of Expected Services
Selected candidates will be responsible for:

Working with vulnerable client populations (behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, mental health issues, etc.)

Developing and implementing Individualized Intervention Plans (IIP)

Providing educational, behavioral, and psychosocial support

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within host environments

Working in accordance with institutional policies and procedures

Children and adolescents in difficulty (youth protection, specialized classes)

Individuals living with intellectual disabilities (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

Adults with mental health disorders or in social reintegration

Children in daycare settings (childcare centers and CPEs)

5. Professional Requirements

College diploma (DEC) in Special Education or recognized equivalent

Relevant experience with similar clienteles (minimum 6 months preferred)

Strong adaptability and team spirit

Proficiency in French (spoken and written)

Proficiency in English may be required depending on the mandate and region

Registration in the Independent Workforce Registry (MOI) or willingness to register (if applicable)

7. Contract Duration and Conditions
