Position: Investor Relations Director
Primary Location: Toronto, ON
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Compensation: CAD 195,000 - CAD 215,000 + bonus + benefits.
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process.

About This Role and About You
As the Director of Investor Relations, you will be the primary point of contact between Chemtrade and the investment community, ensuring transparency and fostering trust. You will develop and execute strategies to communicate the company's financial performance, business strategy, and growth prospects to institutional investors, analysts, and stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the market perceives our company, driving shareholder engagement, and supporting the company's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the execution of the company's investor relations strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Serve as the key partner and main liaison to institutional investors, analysts, and the broader investment community, effectively communicating the company's financial results, key initiatives, and long-term strategic vision.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, prepare quarterly earnings materials, press releases, and other communications for investors and analysts.
- Manage relationships with analysts covering the company and monitor research reports, providing insights into market trends and shareholder feedback.
- Oversee compliance with TSX and other regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate disclosure of material information.
- Organize investor-related events, such as earnings calls, shareholder meetings, roadshows, conferences, etc., to significantly increase contacts with potential new investors.
- Maintain and update the Investor Relations section of the company website to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and corporate communications, to align messaging and maintain consistent communication.
- Monitor and analyze the company's stock performance, competitor activities, and overall market conditions to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Track Chemtrade's unit holder ownership.
- Develop a target list of institutional investors and work with Chemtrade's banking relationships to arrange introductory meetings with institutions, with the view of significantly increasing contacts with potential new investors.
- Respond to investor inquiries, ensuring consistent and professional communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA designation preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, or a related field, ideally within a TSX-listed public company.
- Strong understanding of TSX regulations, corporate governance, and disclosure requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise messaging.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian capital markets, industry trends, and investor dynamics.
