About the role

As a Sales & Customer Service agent, you'll become a trusted advisor in helping Canadians protect the things they care about. We'll provide you the mentorship and training as you pursue your career goals, and your success will be recognized with our annual bonus plan and accelerated career path which will provide you with an opportunity for promotion after six months in the role.

This hybrid role is available at our offices located at 10830 Jasper avenue Edmonton.

What you'll do here:

Play a key role in providing the best possible protection for our clients' most valuable assets by advising them on suitable insurance products, answering their product questions, and guiding them on the next steps.
Analyze individual customer needs and promote and cross-sell appropriate personal lines insurance products and services.
Efficiently accept and process changes in payment methods, ensuring accurate and timely updates to clients' accounts.
Handle phone and email inquiries from existing clients in a professional and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly

What you bring to the table:

At least one year of customer service experience in a call center environment.
Previous experience in sales and customer retention is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for customers and colleagues, and the capacity to understand and empathize with others.
Proficient with technology and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
Ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under pressure.
Must be willing to study for and pass the provincial exam to obtain an insurance license with the support of our in-house training team.
Bilingual in English and French is a significant advantage.
No prior Canadian work experience is required, but candidates must be eligible to work in Canada ull time.

This role requires you to:

Be available to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am - 5:00pm
During the first year with us, you will be required to work every Saturday. After the first 12 months, they will be in 1 of 5-week rotation.
During the first year with us, we will ask you to work on statutory holidays and you will be compensated according to labor standards.
