Our client, a leader in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift operator to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler (Forklift)
Day shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Afternoon shift: 2:30pm - 11pm Monday to Friday
Location: Milton, ON
Pay Range: $21 - $22 per hour
What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot inbound, outbound, and internal materials for site orders.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse clerks, team leads, and Work-in-Process (WIP) personnel.
- Maintain and update Eaton's WIP database accurately.
- Pack, weigh, and load trucks for all outbound materials.
- Ensure inventory balances and on-hand accuracy within the warehouse.
What's Needed?
- Must have a valid forklift certification license with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating Counterbalance/Reach
- Proficiency in operating counterbalance forklifts, order pickers with fall arrest systems, and reach trucks.
- Experience with material management systems, preferably Oracle.
- Ability to handle materials of various weights and sizes accurately.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support team members.
