Our client, a reputable logistics and delivery company, is seeking a Casual Courier to join their team. As a Casual Courier, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Logistics and Delivery Teams. The ideal candidate will have availability to work on-call as needed.

Job Title: Casual Utility Courier
Location: Grand Falls, NB
Shift: Casual, On-Call
Pay Rate: $21.20/hour

What's the Job?

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
• Advise the unit manager when inspections fail

What's Needed?

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
• No more than four (4) demerit points on Driver's Abstract
• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods training
• Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
