Located in La Patrie, Unik Parquet is looking for a colorist to help design high-quality wood floors.

As a colorist, you will enjoy a stable 40-hour workweek, during the day, with Friday afternoon off!

Join a growing company with the opportunity to work overtime, and a salary between $25 and $35 per hour, depending on experience.

The future colorist will receive training from the current colorist.

Responsibilities:

• Develop colors based on client requests.
• Create color samples to present to clients for approval.
• Maintain a color recipe document for developed colors.
• Prepare colors for the finishing team.
• Ensure that developed colors are accurately represented during application.
• Assist the finishing department when needed.

Skills:

• Knowledge of wood species.
• Understanding of colors.
• A background as a colorist (Asset).
• Experience with staining (Painting).
• Ability to apply lacquer and other finishes.
• Ability to paint horizontally or vertically.
