Canadian Nurse Practitioner Services is an NP led organization that aims to reinvent the geriatric care delivery landscape by promoting flexibility, accessibility and customer service elevation.

We are currently looking for a Part time wound care specialized nurse to deliver in-person, high quality care to residents and clients within LTC facilities. As a contracted wound care specialist you will be responsible to run your own independent business in the delivery of high quality care to operators, staff, clients and their families under the mission and vision of CNPS. This position is autonomous and independent; you must be in possession of advanced wound care knowledge and skills , confident in your decision making and have experience caring for complex wounds in the context of a variety of underlying conditions.

The contract currently entails rounding within LTC homes in the South-Western Ontario region.

Qualifications:

Wound care certification
Current RN certification with College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
Experience in LTC (preferred)
Ability to manage complex wounds in the context of complex co-morbidities
Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Current vulnerable sector police check
You must have reliable means of transportation
Willingness to participate in ministry mandated COVID swab testing
COVID vaccination
