We manufacture and sell aluminum trim systems for lap siding, fiber cement panel and aluminum composite materials (ACM), primarily in the United States and Canada. To support our growth we have an opportunity for an energetic, passionate, pro-active Order Desk/Inside Sales Representative to join our team!
You will work in-person from our offices in southeast Calgary. Your primary responsibilities is to communicate with our customers, be our customer service champions, contribute to inventory management and order fulfillment and support our sales and operations department, helping our business grow and gain valuable experience in a thriving innovative business.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES
Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes and takes customer orders via telephone or email
Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained ERP system.
Proactively generates sales by actively promoting products to existing customers
Support Purchase Order Cycle Management (PO Management)
Support the territory sales teams with continued and tactical communication for existing and new customers
Accurate and thorough documentation on CRM (HubSpot) and ERP systems
Process and issue quotes, and sales orders to the appropriate client's, with an understanding of how each region works for Dealer/Distribution relationships
Routinely interacts with customers to obtain and fulfill orders correctly
Handle product returns when required / management re-stocking requests
Assist customers by troubleshooting via telephone or email to identify correct products required
Build the product knowledge to be a resource for outside sales reps, and versed in our competitive business environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to multi-task and time management skills required
Strong attention to detail
Computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business ERP systems and good experience working with Excel and Office
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution (preferably in Business) is an asset
High School Diploma or the equivalent education
Minimum 2 years of inside sales / order desk customer service experience is preferred
