Aurora Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our thriving practice in Peterborough, Ontario. In this vital role, you'll support the practice by guiding people through their orthodontic journey while contributing to our practice's growth and success.

Your Impact as Certified Level II Dental Assistant
In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating positive patient experiences and driving practice growth. Key responsibilities include:
• Chair side assisting with Orthodontist for orthodontic procedures
• Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills
• Take intra-oral photo records and radiographs.
• Provide exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team.
• Perform Invisalign scans.
• Ability to take impressions
• Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols
• Confidence with providing oral health education to our patients and families.
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice. Such as administrative tasks, marketing initiatives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
• Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
• MUST have your NDAEB board exams written and must possess active status
• HARP certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
• Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
• Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
