As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling and implementing advanced metering hardware and software solutions for utility monitoring and management. This role primarily focuses on key account management, which involves managing the multi-residential metering sector. The position offers a base salary of $100,000, plus commission and other perks.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base salary: $100,000 plus commission

First-year OTE: $140,000 - $160,000

OFFICE LOCATION AND SALES TERRITORY:

Head Office: Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada

Regional Office: Toronto, ON

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days working from Toronto office, and the rest working from home and travelling with the sales territory of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding cities

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of B2B Sales or Account Management experience experience

Working knowledge of larger property building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC infrastructure and/or district energy systems) is an asset

Knowledge of green building certifications, such as LEED and BOMA BEST is considered an asset

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Highly skilled in a Windows Office environment, knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software essential

Sales Cycle involves a combination of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and maintaining relationships with existing clients

The average client size is about 1.5 million
